Initial situation

An attempt had been made to implement a medical records tracking solution.
The situation was completely deadlocked, with the solution failing to meet requirements, and both functional and performance problems rendering it unusable.

In-house staff were not at all familiar with the technical environment, and had had little involvement in implementing the solution.

Choice of BS-Team

It was necessary to call in an expert to carry out an initial inventory and audit of the solution.
BS-Team, with its reputation for expertise in Dynamics 365 CRM solutions, was recommended.
Numerous references provided reassurance about the choice.

Choosing a local partner for its proximity and responsiveness was also an important aspect.

Project realization

The first part of the project was therefore to carry out an inventory, a challenge of the technical choices made and an audit of the developments carried out.
Following this audit, BS-Team was chosen to redo the project from scratch, as the entire solution architecture had to be reviewed.

The partnership with BS-Team worked very well.
First of all, we had to refocus the project in order to meet the deadlines.
This required close contact with the project manager and business experts.

Following BS-Team’s recommendations, it was decided to involve the in-house technical teams more and to increase their skills.
The entire project was carried out by the BS-Team teams.
The project took a year and a half to complete.
The key users then had to be integrated for the UAT and integration tests.
BS-Team also coached and accompanied the users during these sessions.

End of project

All objectives have been met, and around 120 medically-trained staff use the solution in the field every day.
A skills transfer took place during the course of the project to give a degree of autonomy to in-house teams.

BS-Team has proved to be the ideal partner over the long term, and continues to develop the solution.
The solution has now been in production for over 2 years, and has undergone very few patches.
However, its functional evolution continues.
Other projects were subsequently carried out with BS-Team.
