Initial situation

The servers were aging and reaching the end of their warranty period.
The question was whether to renew the data center or get rid of it altogether.

Choice of BS-Team

The advice of a company with expertise in this process, and which was totally convinced by Cloud solutions, was necessary.

In BS-Team we found a team that believed strongly in this potential, while knowing the risks and mastering the challenges ahead.

Most of the players we met were very cautious about proposing a total transformation to the cloud, and had little experience of it.

Project realization

The first step was to take stock of all the applications and services in use.
Some were very old, running on Windows Server 2003.
Exchange messaging was hosted by one partner, the website by another, and so on.

The decision was then made to migrate the entire desktop estate to Windows 10.
One of the advantages of the Microsoft 365 offering was that the OS was bundled with the entire EMS suite.

In a second phase, most services were migrated to Office 365 (Exchange online, SharePoint, One Drive for Business, Microsoft Teams, etc.) The balance of applications were installed on Microsoft Azure servers.

The switchover was completed without any major problems, and above all without any loss of information or service interruption.

The partnership with BS-Team has worked very well, thanks to their responsiveness and proximity.

End of project

All objectives have been met.
BS-Team is now our preferred service provider, supporting us in the event of problems or any need for development.

The flexibility of the Microsoft 365 environment and the ability to quickly create new users or manage the environment is a real plus.
