Project details
The customer
For an NGO, we took over their CRM, migrated them to a Microsoft Dynamics 365 online tenant and set up the Dynamics Portal so that they could use it as an extranet for their partners.

CRM & Extranet
CRM migration and implementation of an Extranet portal
Initial situation
The Dynamics CRM solution was already in place and covered part of our needs.
The aim was both to migrate to a Microsoft online tenant and to upgrade the solution.
In-house staff were not at all familiar with the technical environment, and had had little involvement in implementing the solution.
Choice of BS-Team
We were looking for a Microsoft partner who was both experienced with the Dynamics 365 suite and had extensive experience of migrating cloud environments.
BS-Team has established itself as a player covering all needs, and, what’s more, with long experience of non-governmental organizations.
Project realization
The first step was to migrate to the cloud, synchronizing CRM users with Azure Active Directory (AAD).
Exchange boxes have been migrated to Exchange online.
CRM was then migrated, the CRM client for Outlook configured and deployed, and users trained.
Following this initial success, stage two involved setting up the Dynamics 365 Portal to create an Extranet portal for the various external stakeholders.
BS-Team was our partner of choice, providing us with the best possible advice and solving all our technical problems.
This was one of the first implementations of this portal in French-speaking Switzerland.
All the administrative aspects of this portal can be managed by non-technical key users, as everything works very simply and from the CRM interface.
The partnership with BS-Team worked very well, and their proximity to Microsoft was a great help on this first project.
End of project
All objectives have been met.
The CRM is used by a dozen or so internal users, and the portal is used by hundreds of stakeholders to consult their data and post information, files and so on.
Other projects were subsequently carried out with BS-Team, with more to come.
